Violent crime is an everyday occurrence in our country, affecting every facet of society.  In this show of courage and determination, victims of horrendous crimes recount their heart-wrenching stories; deplorable acts of rape, robbery, beating, and domestic abuse. To aid in their healing process, and encourage a renewed sense of personal empowerment, the victims are invited to attend a defensive handgun course at Front Sight Firearms Training Institute, Las Vegas, NV.  Each victim then participates in a re-creation of the worst day of their lives, but this time armed with the knowledge of how to safely and effectively implement a firearm to create a more positive outcome.  This story of personal transformation demonstrates how violent crime can affect us all, and how proper self-defense training can save our lives if the criminal element decides to strike.
